Anthony Maddaluno - Monsignor Farrell On May 3rd the SIAC honored sixHigh School students at the Staten Island Island High School Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at Monsignor Farell High School.Irene O'Hare and James Cassidy received $1000 each in honor Firefighter Greg Buck.  Four more scholarhips were awarded to students possessing such outstanding qualities as team spirit, dedication, and determination.  This is the 7th year that the S.I.A.C. has awarded the Scholarships. Announcements The next SIAC meeting will be held on Monday, July 6th, at Afternoone's Restaurant, 415 Forest Avenue at 7:45 PM. Track workouts are held every Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM and also, every Tuesday evening t at 6:30 PM.  Both sessions are held at at Monsignor Farrell High School.  All are welcome. The SIAC Saturday morning Fun Run is held every Saturday morning in Clove Lakes Park at the "Lake Cafe" Bridge (9:00 AM Sharp!), rain or shine unless another Island race is scheduled on that day.  The results of this event are posted every Sunday in the Sports "Roundup" section of the SI Advance.
